I knew from the moment I stepped foot onto Nancarrow Farm that it was going to quickly become one of my all time favourite venues as a wedding videographer in Cornwall! Hanna and Marc brought an inspired sense of timelessness to their wedding with traditional elements fused brilliantly together with modern a modern boho style.
The tree-lined lane that leads to Nancarrow Farm with rolling hills either side, hints at things to come at this romantic venue. Hidden away in the Cornish countryside, the colossal wedding ceremony barn is the jewel in the crown of this traditional Cornish farm, now revamped into an elegant and relaxed wedding venue. Each season capturing wedding videography Cornwall offers a different perspective of the county, on this day in midsummer, the flowers were in full bloom and bees flitted from flowers to flower as the bridal party got ready. The bridesmaids were dressed in pastel pinks and the bouquet and flower details were full, unabashed summer pastels to compliment this colour-theme and the navy blues of the groom’s party. The bride wore a cream, embellished, softly draping dress and the atmosphere in both the bridal and grooms barns was relaxed and jubilant.

The drinks reception was in the cobbled courtyard, in the warm, summer’s afternoon. Canapes and drinks passed around freely. Back at the reception barn, guests were seated around the simple and dignified benches that lined the room, delicately decorated.
There was an eruption of applause as the newlyweds entered the room, hand-in-hand.
A delicious wedding breakfast was served and heartfelt speeches followed , which had guests in tears and laughter, sometimes in unison.
As the sun slowly dipped towards the horizon, the tables were pushed back and the venue transformed into a dance floor, the DJ arrived, the lights became neon, and my Cornwall wedding video took on a different vibe as the dancing started, more drinks flowed and the music was cranked up. Outside there was a bar and fire pit for those needing to refuel and get some fresh air, the night was clear and stars bright, a perfect end to a midsummers wedding day at a quietly sophisticated venue.
