AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHY DOES HE LOVE MAKING WEDDING FILMS?
Whilst working in London as a documentary film maker & photographer, I met my future wife, Joanna. By chance, we both attended a seminar by a charming man named 'Max Comfort' (best name ever!) where we had to create plans for the next 5 years of our life. As a fashion photographer, I thought she was too cool for me. However, huddled together over a scrap of paper, little did we know that 5 years later we would be happily married in Cornwall with our 2 sons, Jasper & Rufus, spending any free time we have exploring the wilds of Cornwall. Joanna and I occasionally break into spontaneous bouts of kung-fu. Usually Joanna wins.
My first taste of wedding videography came when a friend (who knew I was documentary film maker) asked me to film his wedding. Despite filming with a broken foot, I absolutely loved it and was hooked on making wedding films. I knew that the film I was making would make people happy and be treasured for the rest of their married lives, and I was honoured that they had trusted me to do it.
Experience has taught me one thing about wedding films: to listen to the story unfolding from the couple. They themselves hold the key to a beautiful wedding film. More than flowers. More than cakes. It's their love for one another, every quirky interest, intimate exchange and spontaneous kiss.

We had the most fantastic day (and whole weekend at Langdon Court) and to be able to re-live it with your films is an incredible pleasure. The most striking thing that comes across is the pure happiness and joy that we felt on the day and you've captured that so well in the films from the looks on our faces to the way that the films build to a crescendo.
We're so happy with the video - we can't stop watching it! Everyone is so impressed with the quality of it. It really captures the mood of the day. Originally I was worried that a videographer might have been a bit intrusive, but you blended in and I didn't notice you at all, which helped make everything more natural.
Everyone commented how lovely you and Christian were. We're so glad that we ended up having you record the day, as it's something we can show to our kids, grandkids etc., as well as being able to show our elderly relatives who couldn't make it to the actual wedding day. Thank you!
